It would be reallly nice if this could be updated to Android X, it would make things a lot easier.

Actually I found a workaround, so you can use the Material SeekbarPreference with Androidx. It's a bit complicated and I dont know all things i changed, but if anyone have the same Problem, know that there is a way to do it without any Updates of the Code here.
