Enabled launch on startup and automatic borderless, but now doen't work

I was messing around with the advanced settings and check it so that the app would launch on startup and would automatically apply the borderless effect, but now the app launches (UAC prompt) but nothing happens. I cannot see it in my task bar (nor in the hidden icons bit) and even though the process is running, it is inaccessible. My thought was to clear the config file but that didn't do anything, is there a config stored in AppData somewhere?

The config is stored in the registry under SOFTWARE\BorderlessMinecraft.

Setting the values to false and relaunching the app fixed it, but I'm unsure why it wouldn't work. The settings I had enabled were:

  • Start on Boot
  • Start Minimized
  • Automatic Borderless

Might be something I messed up, but this combination seems to essentially stop the program from working. Thanks for the quick workaround by resetting the registry values.

I'll reopen this for now until I can take a closer look at it. Glad you got it working, though!
