Notify user about new game versions

Whenever the launcher detects new game versions available for download (e.g. on start-up or on periodic check during runtime):

• add game version to drop-down list and mark it (e.g. ⭐️ )
• show an announcement above the tab view

Should this be for all game releases? I'm wondering if this would result in quite some notification spam for pre-releases and nightly versions. In good times, we have those at least daily, so there's not much information in "Hey, there's a new nightly version" message every day.

For releases (and release candidates for that matter) I fully support this feature.

I'd probably go for a different icon, like :sparkles: or :new:, as I personally would associate the :star: with a "favorite" or "bookmark" of sorts.

I agree that this should only be done for release candidates and releases. The comment on the icon to use also makes sense 👍
