This seems like an amazing game, if you added a multiplayer component (and preferably kept things open source) this could be huge!

Hi there. Yep, it is on the long term todo list. We have some of our libraries from Terasology integrated (#92) pending an outstanding issue or two on Android. One more to go (our entity system) and we have most/all the pieces to consider multiplayer after that.
