Oh, sure, a PR would be welcome. I think we'd put the swipe disable toggle in the new Settings menu, as its effect is not directly visible to the user.

Good to know! I'm still not sure what exactly causes this, but that workaround suggests the presence of some corrupt saved data and/or the app not handling specific saved data...
