Orientation change causes right buttons to be duplicated left and content disappears (1.6.7 only)

1. Launch demo app in portrait
2. Swipe left to open right buttons
3. Change to landscape

Duplication also occurs if left buttons are visible before rotating.

Doesn't happen with 1.6.6.

Possibly related to #314.
