Swipe Buttons Not Showing After Initial Swipe?

Open KodiKraig opened this issue 9 years ago • 1 comments

At first it was unclear whether or not to create the buttons for the swipe outside the cellForRowAtIndexPath method. I assumed I could create them outside of the method to deal with the callbacks in clean fashion but it appears that in doing so the buttons will disappear after initial swipe.

After the table loads, you can swipe all the cells and there will be buttons present. After you go back and try to swipe the buttons out a second time, the buttons will be gone. Any idea why? I tried to use self. to indicate to the compiler where the buttons might be declared but that doesn't seem to help.

Maybe this a newbie question in iOS programming or the answer is obvious. Either way I would like to know why the application behaves this way? Thank you.

Are you creating different button instances for each cell?

You can check the demos to see how buttons are created. You can also send me a testcase if you want me to check why that happens.
