Loom and Dozer

This is an FYI for anybody who might run into the same trouble as me. Loom dialogs will sometimes go off screen when hidden by Dozer (or any other bar management app like Dozer or Bartender). I guess that Loom is looking to make the dialog show relative to the icon in the bar and if it's not displayed the calculation is incorrect. Anyway, just drag Loom to the right of the dozer icon so it's always on screen and it will behave better.
