Windows Instability

Open Morsmalleo opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

AhMyth has always been very unstable with Windows, so any issues or comments or discussions about installing AhMyth for Windows, will be removed without question or hesitation, I am working on stabilising this for all platforms, Windows, Mac OS X & Linux.

DevLog - TUESDAY, 5 July 2022, 11:47am (AEST)

My research into the instability of AhMyth on Windows machines, has brought me to find that it's mainly due to two issues that I can find so far,

  • Java Home Variable
  • Windows Defender & Third Party AV

Setting the Java Home Variable for AhMyth so it's able to utilise Java 11 for Decompiling and Building as well as Signing then disabling Defender along with other third party AV's (i.e Norton, Kaspersky etc) seems to be the fix around the rest of the Windows Instability with AhMyth so far! Other bugs due to outdated coding as well as typos causing it to perform badly, have been fixed.

Another way of allowing AhMyth to work WITHOUT disabling Defender or third party AV's, is to whitelist the AhMyth payload.

Anyone who is paranoid about whitelisting the AhMyth payload is an idiot! Because android payloads don't affect Windows or Linux systems, they only affect Android Systems, even with an Android emulator the payload doesn't affect the host PC or any PC that it touches for that matter, why? Because it's an ANDROID PAYLOAD!!
