the game would stay in hyper speed no matter what I would do I didn't touch the settings and it was at hyper speed for no reason, i even built the game with a completely new download of the ROM and it didn't fix the issue, there are no videos or reports of this on this site nor YouTube

Also getting this. Are you guys AMD? I think (for me anyway) it was when the Fluid Motion Frames were introduced it started speeding the game up to 800 fps. I switched to OpenGL and it runs 60 fps, but the audio lags. ETA: AMD's Chill doesn't appear to limit the FPS to 60 properly which is a bummer. I don't really want to dl third party software, so it's OpenGL for me.
