I really appreciate the devs for this flawless music player, it really has a lot of cool features and a very elegant look in the now playing screen. But when i was listening to Dawn FM, It has alot of transition between each song, i noticed the player don't support gapless playback but the windows version does, the lack of gapless playback really takes take joy while listening to different albums. Please consider adding this feature soon in the mobile player. Btw really love your project :)

@PumpkinJui Thanks for pointing that out, and @Moriafly I'm really sorry for duplicate submit, as issue #183 is in chinese i didn't really knew it existed at that time.
But just wanted to ask that, issue #183 was opened in like 2022 but there still isn't any gapless support in SPA. Are you considering working for that or maybe you're busy at something else?? And I know you don't prefer crossfade as i read there but can you please consider adding it in the future?? It would really be a very nice feature, nevertheless Thanks for making SPA :)

Thanks for reaching out. Late last year, I was working on a completely new audio architecture for Windows. Around the halfway point of development, I started exploring making it cross-platform. Since I was building the Windows version from the ground up, I didn't account for compatibility with Salt Player's existing Android implementation at that stage.
The core development wrapped up around early this year. When I tried porting it to Android, I hit some challenges - Android's media stack requires multiple layers of implementation, and after about a month of work, it became clear that full feature parity would require more time than justified the effort. I've shelved this work for now, but may revisit the possibility of partial implementations or incremental patches later if it makes sense.
Ohhh I see, It's completely understandable that you want to make it cross-platform to decrease the double work it would bring instead, I'm glad that you are considering future development for android too if you're busy on SPW right now, will love to see SPA grow further and all the best :) and Thanks for the clarification
