HiDPI Issues
The library works pretty well. Things are readable. Icons and scroll bars are still not the right size. Steam Store still is really tiny and inreadable.
@nrj5k Thanks for trying the skins.
Unfortunately I only found references on the web that the Steam browser can not be styled. :-1:
I absolutely want to resize the menus and icons, but don't know yet how to do that... Will keep this issue open and update with my findings when I make progress.
Awesome. I guess if no one's gonna figure it out. We could give it a shot
Wow, pretty readable now. Thanks for this job. Would be a good idea to show some screenshots in the index page of this project, so people can get an idea of the new sizes.
This are my original and skinned changes
Cool, thanks for the screenshots. I'll add some to the readme when I'm back from Xmas break.
I'll see what I can find. This affects me as well.
Added the screenshots to the README. Thanks @mcvendrell!
on Linux HiDPI (3840 x 2160) its still small :-o
OS Tumbleweed , Lenovo 910
@trueshanti Do you mean the window size or the window content? The browser (all you see in the Shop essentially) can not be styled unfortunately.
compared to my desktop the fonts are tiny and very hard to read
@trueshanti The theme does not use any DPI settings from your desktop environment. It's all hardcoded font sizes and i chose them so I could at least read the text. I don't know if there is a way to dynamically scale the font size.
You can try to go throught the *.styles file and look for lines with font-size
(example at https://github.com/MoriTanosuke/HiDPI-Steam-Skin/blob/master/resource/styles/steam.styles#L1381) settings and increase them.
