Have you checked the readme and man page for this feature? Yup Have you checked previous issues for this feature? Yup

Its just a nice feature in yay I'm surprised wasn't here!

I was looking for the same feature, tried paru -Syua --interactive but the --interactive switch does appear to work only when searching specific packages, not for a full system upgrade

Also interested in this. And there appears to be a very old unanswered question in the wiki: #813.

Maybe not a fully satisfactory solution as it doesn't allow to choose what to update or not on the fly, but @themarcman314 pointed out in the unanswered question linked above that packages from the AUR can be added to the IgnorePkg list in pacman.conf.

Might be worth adding this info to the README maybe?

Of course, a flag that would allow to answer yes/no to every AUR package would be even better as it would allow to choose when to update what without having to constantly edit pacman.conf.

If you are talking about the feature in YAY where you could chose to ignore specific AUR packages when doing an upgrade, you can turn on the UpgradeMenu option in the config file.

Oh! That's great! Thanks heb-dtc for pointing that out. My bad for not looking at the man page for paru.conf.

Now that I am reading the man pages thoroughly, I noticed that there is also a flag (--upgrademenu).
