The normal upgrade printing also print's latest-commit for devel upgrades now

Most AUR helpers just need to be rebuilt against the new alpm version. For pacaur you need to rebuild cower.

Actually as mkchrootpkg has a -u flag maybe follow that,

The chroot does a full pacman -Syu, the packages are probably already up to date. -u is the makepkg flag so it fits to match.

I believe the way it works is -u just kind of extends the target list with packages that need to be updated. And for updates we don't want to install...
