Out of date?
How out of date is this since the last commit was 2013? If there are any missing unicode characters that need to be added, can you tell me how to do it?
@MorbZ Any news?
The project is unmaintained since I don't use the font anymore. Feel free to send a PR or fork it. There are tools like FontForge that let you edit fonts.
If anyone feels up to it: the font will support quite a bit more emoji when you merge Noto Emoji in it. Stuff like red and purple heart emoji are supported with it.
@MorbZ can you share the scripts and input data you used to create the font? so that we can more easily start updating it?
@zoff99 I selected the symbols by hand (back then the number of emojis was much smaller). So to update it you would want to use the fonts mentioned in the readme file.
Alternative Fonts that can display emoji. It works with javafx as well.
