TE: problems with pathfinding in TR1 (crocodile, gorilla...)
Creating levels for TR1 version with Tomb Editor comes with some bugs to pathfinding. The most important ones I have noticed are
- Swimming crocodiles (and maybe rats?) try to reach Lara who is on ground, resulting in them swimming against a wall (towards Lara) instead of swimming around in the water.
- Gorillas cannot climb up or down heights of 2 clicks, or go up slopes like in TR1 Colosseum.
- All enemies ignore the height difference of a pushable block, acting like it was flat ground. What I mean is that if Lara stands on top of a pushable block, the enemies will "climb" up to it.
- Enemies might get stuck or glitch out on an angled floor (both walkable or sliding).
