TE: A better colour picker palette UI

Open GeckoKid-JW opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

The current one is the default colour picker UI that hasn't been changed since Windows 95, and is really clunky to use. Would suggest looking into a style like Photoshop or Cinema4D (among other modern creative programs), doesn't need anything fancy like a colour wheel, but the following features would be amazing:

  1. RGB slider
  2. HSL slider
  3. An eyedropper tool to pick up any colour on the screen
  4. Hexcode for the current colour
  5. A more intuitive way of adding selected colours into the swatches. The current one requires you to select a black box first, change the colours, then Add to custom colours
  6. If it's all the same to you, make it dark grey like the TE UI - looking at near black colours in the swatches against the default light silver background is extremely difficult.
