align single sound file?

Is there currently a way to align a single sound file (i.e., not a directory of files) based on acoustic model (e.g. in .wav with.lab transcription)?

I guess i could create temporary directory, but wondering whether it's already somehow possible to do this

if you want to align the file one by one. how about copy one of the .wav file(and the .lab) to a clean directory, and align this directory . this is my way for now.
