CSS native variables

Open Ollie-w opened this issue 9 years ago • 7 comments

CSS variables are most often used for colors. It would be really nice if this plugin could underlay color variable names with their respective color. e.g. var(--lightblue) would be underlayed with its defined color. The equivalent plugin for Atom does this and it's really nice feature!

I'll try tackling this tonight!

I'm having this same issue. I spent an hour on it tonight and got nowhere. May try again over the weekend.

I use variables all day long (eg. var(--red) ). This would be a most welcome feature. It is one of the things that I really miss in Sublime Text.

Also note that some people (like me) do variable names with extra hyphens like this:

color: var(--deep-red);

I'm also interested in this! Would love an update to this :)

Me too. I am frustrated with the lack of this feature in the plugin
