Is this library crossplatform? Can I use it on Linux?

The page mentions Windows and OSX. The website also says that Ray is just a gem, which means that any platform that can build a Ruby gem (which, in this case, would need a C compiler) and run Ruby applications should work.

I am not absolutely sure about this, though.

Can I use it with Ruby 2.5.1 or Ray is too old project?
