[1.16.5] World generation crashes server

Description

I am trying to use the MnM modpack (version 1.10.0) with mohist and when i try to generate a new world it crashes due to a Nullpointerexception: feature placement. I was not able to figure out what causes this error. The modpack runs fine on mohist when there are no chunks being generated. It is also not biome specific as far as i can tell, as it happens with multiple biomes from different mods. The modpack runs also perfectly on CurseForge so i assume it has something to do with mohist.

How to reproduce

create a mohist server with the Mineshafts & Monsters modpack. Start the server with no world and let it run until it crashes.
