Describe the bug can not work on 2012DC and Embedded Standard Dotnet 4.8 Runtime has been installed in Windows ("ndp48-x86-x64-allos-enu.exe")

- OS: Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter (6.3.9600) AND Windows Embedded Standard SP1 (6.1.7601)

The same happens in Windows 8.1, apparently only works on Windows 10.... :S

The app works well on Windows 7/8.1/10. This looks like a very strange bug. I will try to figure out this bug and fix it.
