Opening files delay

Unlike other image viewers like nomacs or ImageGlass, quick-picture-viewer has a considerable delay to open files, it's like about a one second and an half delay. Considering that Windows is installed on a SSD NVMe drive, this shouldn't be a expected behavior.

Does this happen when you use the “Open with” menu? What image format do you open?

The delay only happens when opening a file via Explorer or the desktop, also is happening with "Open with...". Moreover, opening the program standalone also has the delay.

What image format do you open?

I'm opening .jpg, .png, .gif, (common file types)
