Area(s) with issue?

Media Flyout

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open ModernFlyouts and ensure it is running in the background.
  2. Press a media key (e.g., Play/Pause, Volume Up/Down, Mute) on the keyboard.
  3. Observe that the flyout does not appear as expected.
  4. Try restarting ModernFlyouts, but the issue persists.

✔️ Expected Behavior

When pressing a media key (e.g., Play/Pause, Volume Up/Down, Mute), the ModernFlyouts overlay (flyout) should appear on the screen, displaying the corresponding media or volume change.

❌ Actual Behavior

When pressing a media key (e.g., Play/Pause, Volume Up/Down, Mute), the ModernFlyouts overlay (flyout) does not appear on the screen. The media or volume change still occurs, but there is no visual feedback from ModernFlyouts.

Additional Observations:

Restarting ModernFlyouts does not resolve the issue. The issue persists even after a system reboot. Until yesterday, ModernFlyouts was working correctly. However, after installing a Windows Update today, the flyout no longer appears when pressing media keys (e.g., Play/Pause, Volume Up/Down, Mute).

Additionally, the default Windows flyout is also missing, meaning there is no visual feedback when adjusting volume or media playback.

Install Certificate

I have already done this: Remember to install the certificate in the Trusted Root Authority under 'Local Machine'.

Install Certificate

I have already done this: Remember to install the certificate in the Trusted Root Authority under 'Local Machine'.

To install a certificate in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store for the Local Computer in Windows 10/11, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Windows Run dialog: Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type mmc in the Run dialog box and press Enter. This will open the Microsoft Management Console (MMC).
  3. If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), choose Yes to allow MMC to make changes to your device.
  4. In the MMC window, select File from the menu bar and choose Add/Remove Snap-in.
  5. In the Add or Remove Snap-ins window, scroll down and select Certificates, then choose Add >.
  6. A pop-up window will ask which certificates you want to manage. Select Computer account, and then click Next.
  7. Select Local computer (the computer this console is running on), and then click Finish.
  8. Click OK to close the Add or Remove Snap-ins window.
  9. In the MMC, under Certificates (Local Computer), expand the Trusted Root Certification Authorities folder.
  10. Select Certificates under Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
  11. Right-click on Certificates, choose All Tasks, and then select Import.
  12. Follow the instructions in the Certificate Import Wizard to add the new certificate to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
