Use JCDecaux API

Open LukeVader-IV opened this issue 9 months ago • 2 comments

Hi, I'm Luke, I was messing around with the transitous API, and noticed that it was missing the GBFS feed for Luxembourg's bike sharing system.

Luxembourg's bike-sharing system Veloh is operated by the French company JCDecaux. They operate a bunch of different bike sharing systems in different cities, including ones that are already included in this system, such as Brussels' Villo.

My question is, is it worth to replace the individual APIs of each system with the operator's API? I think the only way to get the data for Luxembourg is to use JCDecaux's API

Here is the jcdecaux documentation

Hello @LukeVader-IV,

Nice to meet you! Thanks for the question.

  • Can you give an example of what it would mean to "replace the individual APIs of each system with the operator's API"?
  • Which database are you referring to? systems.csv, transitland-atlas, transitous?

I'm curious to learn more about this topic!

Thanks in advance, Fabien for MobilityData
