Enshrouded
Hi, I have some friends wanting to play Enshrouded so I thought I would throw it into my install, but the server will not list as available once it is created using the AMP GUI. I have other games up and running fine and I have also installed Enshrouded on a Windows box and that one lists correctly. The ports are listed in the yaml correctly and I can swing the port forwarding back to the windows box and it connects fine.
Just curious if anyone else has run into this issue.
According to this page it requires Proton to run on Linux (which this image is based on; Debian 12 specifically): https://discourse.cubecoders.com/t/supported-applications-compatibility/1828
We don't have Proton in this image (we do have Wine, which Proton is a fork of). Maybe it's a good idea to add Proton since a lot of games on that list require it. My guess is that it won't show up if it doesn't detect Proton.
I'll need to figure out how to install Proton and also allow Wine apps to work, but in the meantime you can try installing it with a startup script if you're good with Linux. See the readme for details on adding a startup script. If you do get it working let me know how!
Proton is downloaded through the template when AMP does the update of the Enshrouded server. In this case, it's Proton GE. So it shouldn't be that. Although, for other games, Wine may need to be updated. I don't recall what version is in the image here now.
