Sengeki Striker Not Working
The game Sengeki Striker (both Korea & Japan) are not working in MAMEHub. It starts and even creates a proper NVRAM file, but during boot up the game itself does not pass the clock test. It shows: (Clock: NG) and 00:00:00 Jan 00 as the time.
The game works fine in the normal MAME 0.149b.
I tried the following things to no avail:
- Manually setting the clock.
- Replacing the NVRAM with the one from MAME 0.149b.
- Running CSUME from the command line.
Ah, yeah any game that relies on a real-world clock doesn't work ATM, but it should be an easy fix. On Jul 22, 2013 12:06 PM, "Gitweazle" [email protected] wrote:

Ok thanks, no problem. :+1:
I ran into another game that isn't working and it occurred to me that this is probably the same issue.
The game is called The Crystal of Kings (crysking.zip + BIOS file crysbios.zip), a decent Golden Axe clone. The symptoms are similar to those of Sengekis:
- It starts, but hangs during boot up. I am not able to enter Service Mode (F2) or Reset (F3). Sometimes it even hangs CSUME completely (had to close with Task Manager).
- Running straight through CSUME (with and without -server arg.) doesn't work.
- It works just fine in the normal MAME 0.149b. Service Mode shows a real-time synchronized clock.
- I can't find anything out of the ordinary in the (gui) logs.
