Firewall & Uploading pictures
I use NetGuard https://github.com/M66B/NetGuard/releases as a VPN firewall on my Android 7 phone. I allowed Dashchan of course. I can read threads and I can post text replies. But I cannot upload a reply with a picture as long as NetGuard is active. When I disable NetGuard it will work fine.
So what 3rd party app is used for uploading pictures? Google Play Services are allowed to access the internet.
No 3rd party apps are used. Dashchan just reads the file and passes it to posting request.
How exactly Dashchan behaves when you try to upload a file? The problem during attaching process or you get error message when you click "send" button?
I attach a picture, press "send". Then a small notification pops up and directly says
Processing data 100%...........................569/569 KB
After 30s or so the notification disappears and I'm back at the 'new post' screen. With NetGuard disabled I get:
Sending 1 of 1 0%
And it will go up to send the post. Krautchan, if that's important.
Screen should dissapar with error message bubble. Right?

I removed the old one, started Dashchan, opened "new thread" page and waited for a bit - no errors. Then I sent the post and after some minutes the log hat the errors above.
Dialog screen I mean. "Error message bubble" is a popup text on dark background (these things are named "toasts"). It's strange that you don't see them, maybe you disabled notifications for Dashchan?
Log says that "connection reset" error occured during sending process many times, Dashchan repeats request 10 times before reporting about it. I'm not sure this problem is related to Dashchan.
