Trying it on my iPhone did not yeild great results. The pop-up overflowed the screen size and there was no way to start the magic.

It'd be awesome if this worked on mobile.

:+1: This is how I tried it first. There are some cool things we could do with mobile in terms of interface, but I worry that it isn't really useful since most people can't or don't know how to install bookmarklets on their phone (I had to look up how to do it on my iPhone, and it still isn't trivial)

Agreed. The the iCloud bullshit for installing bookmarklets on safari a pain. It's easier on Chrome.

Nevertheless, I feel like most people do a lot of reading on their smartphones these days and this could be an amazing resource.

Zurb Foundation could be a quick fix. Have you ever tried it?

I don't think foundation solves the bookmarklet problem for us at all, but solving the mobile issues are pretty simple fixes, we definitely shouldn't pull in a framework for that imo.

Cool beans. I'm sure you're better at this stuff than I am.

Actually, it looks like this is already set up to be the right size on mobile, except for using fixed width lines which is what makes the background overflow the width. The text looks centered horizontally though. There actually is no start button, I think it is supposed to just start when it has everything it needs, but it doesn't start on the gun.io blog post where I've been trying it (doesn't work on desktop either).

The gun.io post doesn't work because of a separate issue involving Readability's handling of our SSL enhancements. I have opened a ticket with them and they're working on it.
