From my experience, this seems to be a compatibility issue specifically between the applet and the default Mate Window Manager. Using Compiz I've yet to encounter this, which is refreshing...

@Sapiosenses I don't know what browser you're using, but as a Firefox user I find Invidious respects my universal "No Autoplay" preference better than say.... Piped does. I would reccomend...
