Hey there @E4zily,
This isn't a bug! Sadly, due to recent attempts of phishing via /msg and other attempts of getting private information by an known group, messages are currently set to "Friends" or "None" for everyone regardless of their settings.
Are there any plans to restore direct messages to their original functionality or did a small group of scammers really ruin this for everyone for an indefinite amount of time?

@CoreyShupe did say that they do plan to restore to original functionality at some point, but this ETA is unknown at this time.
I contacted their support team, and they said there will be an announcement when its restored back to normal, I have no idea how long that will take, but I believe it is in progress.
