AndroidAPS not able to connect to Rileylink
Issue AndroidAPS on my phone (Xiaomi Mi A3) can't connect to the Rileylink-device. I already did a factory reset and an update from Android 9 --> 10, but it still won't connect. I also rebooted both devices multiple times. Now I'm looking for the cause and the solution. I hope you can help me in the right direction.
AndroidAPS version I use AndroidAPS v2.6.1. The same thing happens when using 'app-pumpcontrol-release_2.6.1.2.apk' (it won't connect). My older phone (Huawei P8) connects the the Rileylink without a problem.
Error message in the log file I tried to locate the error in the AndroidAPS log file (I attached the whole file: AndroidAPS.log). I think this must be it (the same error is seen multiple times in the log file).

AndroidAPS is frozen from the moment the light on the Rileylink turns green.
My question Can you give me an advice on how to make AndroidAPS work on my phone? Thank you in advanced!
Here is a clean log file. I deleted the old file, tried to connect to the Rileylink again (same result) and saved the log. If you need more information; please let me know.
Hello Have same issue. I try on Xiaomi Note 8T Android 9 and Pocophone F1 Android 10 After connecting to Rileylink, application frozen. Used 2.6.1.4 on both devices
Hi same problem Android 10 (OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8Pro) try to connect RileyLink (Medtronic 722) then app frozen and reboot i try next ver. 2.7 , 2.6.1.4 - same result ((( Please can you repair this error? AndroidAPS_LOG_1597052638123.log.zip
After update Oxygen OS to 11 version . This error disappeared. All works well as version 2.7
@Milahan While theoretically driver should work everywhere, there are some phones, where it doesn't. In some cases problems can be fixed but not always... It was notices that some phones have internal BT managers which interfere with normal BT operations. Can you try with some other phone to see if problem is with RL or with Phone?
Thanks for your reply, mr. Rozman! On my older phone, the RL works. So I guess it's a compatibility issue with my Xiaomi Mi A3.. Is there a way to disable or work around the "internal BT manager"?
I'm facing the same issue. A question to the experts: is this hardware related, or could flashing the Android to another OS be a suitable workaround? Thanks!
