Have you read up on it? I didn't even know it existed until your post.

The immediate difference I noticed, similar to PkgBenchmark.jl - is the use of a Julia API (PerfChecker/PkgBenchmark) compared with a CLI (AirspeedVelocity). But both rely on BenchmarkTools.jl.
