Multiple disk (e.g. C:, D:, E:) in one panel? Common way?

EDIT AGAIN:

Looks like I run into the same problem I had before... My hostname foo.bar.tld is mistakenly rewritten to foo_bar_tld which is not available in Grafana.

Hello,

I do have metrics for multiple disks (e.g. C:, D:, E:) of one host in one InfluxDB table called disk-windows. How can Icingaweb distinguish between the multiple disks?

I've added a variable to Grafana to switch between these disks. But how can this be used by Icingaweb? Or do I need a panel per disk?

Regards SchiSchi

To show more than one disk in a panel can be solved by adding a new "group by" statement within grafana panel query. Group by "tag(metric)" will do the trick. For a pretty legend use "Disk $tag_metric" as Alias by in the query. Don't forget to filter on the hostname.

As @manfredw already told you, the group by is your friend: image
