Better reporting when --autotrim fails to trim

Currently in 4.1.0, when --autotrim fails to figure out the adapter to use, it quits the whole run. Which is fine and good, except that it should report which library / libraries actually failed. Currently it reports a generic message that does not indicate which --readfile entries failed autotrim.
