@tciuro Thank you for logging it here :)

Which version of brackets are you using? You using the latest interactive-linter? Can you reproduce this issue and if so could you please attach the console.log from developer tools?

Thanks!!

Brackets version: Release 1.0 build 1.0.0-15191 (release 3f2eb90a4) Interactive-linter: 0.6.0

I just realized that there is a problem with the extension. Any idea why?

Removing and adding interactive-linter clears the error, but the problem persists: the icon is never shown.

Hmmm, if interactive linter is not installed and the status indicator at the bottom still does not show I am guessing you probably have another extension causing issues. Can you reload brackets without any extensions? You should be able to do that from the debug menu.

Without loading any extensions, the icon shows up and sticks. However, when I enable them again, the green checkmark blinks for a tiny bit and then disappears. :-/

Ok good so its not an issue with Brackets... Now we just got to go through an elimination process to find the offending extension.

MiguelCastillo avatar Nov 04 '14 23:11 MiguelCastillo

I'll do that, but for the record, these are the extensions I have installed.

I would start with any linters... Like JSHint, Interactive linter... And so...

Miguel, it's "Themes for Brackets". I'm not sure what's the culprit, but it's clear that the moment I activate "Themes for Brackets", it stops working.

tciuro avatar Nov 05 '14 20:11 tciuro

AH good to know! You should use my themes extension :D

Thanks for looking into this

I just installed it ;-)

In the Mbo theme, how can I change the dark green color shown when a parentheses is matched? It's difficult to see. Thanks!

let me take a look and get back to you.

@tciuro I am sorry it took a while to get themes fixed... Can you give what's in master branch a quick try before I publish to the registry? Just to triple check.

Thanks!

I'd love to install it, it's just I've never install a Brackets extension outside the Extension Manager. I'm not sure where to install the sources from master.

Great because that's the easy part :) open up the extension manager and click the button at the bottom of the dialog to nstall from URL. Copy this in there https://github.com/MiguelCastillo/Brackets-Themes That should do it. Let me know if u get stuck.

Hi, just to make it clear that the same thing happened to me. The issue was generated by this theme https://github.com/Jacse/themes-for-brackets
