IC2 Classic doesn't work

Hey,

I cannot address IC2 Classic components. I play in minecraft version 1.12.2 with OpenComputer MC1.12.2-1.7.5.192.jar and IC2-Classic IC2Classic 1.12-1.5.4.5.

With plethora I could see all available interactions on the computer, but the server only crashed with that. After I removed the mod, I don't recognize any IC2-Classic block anymore. Even a complete reinstallation did not help.

1. ic2 classic breaks our compatibility pretty much 3 or 4 times a year with their updates. we dont really support ic2 classic because of this
2. i am happy to look into this, but it is lower priority. first, please test with only ic2-classic and oc and zero other mods.

@payonel why did nobody notify me? If you want legacy support or shorthand notifications on changes I would provide these.

Just adding my experience that FTBU Reloaded still has this issue calling any ic2_oldmfe method except getDocs. The same is true for RF power cells from Thermal Expansion, and Railcraft's steel tanks.

At a minimum, would it be possible to add extra safeguards into the API so that when it gets broken again, we get an error message instead of a server crash?

Clean install, Forge 14.23.5.2854, OC 1.7.5.192, IC2C 1.12-1.5.4.5. The "guard" that was added to prevent server crash now just causes IC2 integration to not load with IC2C because it doesn't have those classes.

Any other plans for crossmodding? Or may I enquire versions in which the support of IC2C and OC is present please (1.12.2)?
