Ability to choose mode per setting category

I have a few sites that are fairly slow for Midnight Lizard to process, however they look awful in Simplistic and Filter mode.

I was thinking about it and I don't need Midnight lizard processing certain things on these pages in Complex mode. I don't need Text, Background, Border or Scroll bar to be processed at all in complex mode simplistic mode would work perfectly, however I need Buttons and Links to be processed in complex otherwise it looks horrible.

It would be nice to be able to set processing mode per-setting category to help with performance as some sites don't need Background, Text, Links, Buttons, Borders and Scrollbars all to be in complex mode but might need a few of them to be in complex mode.

If this would be possible I'd really appreciate it.

It is actually an interesting idea. In simplified mode I use the same new color for all elements despite their original colors. If I ignore all the different text and border colors for example and just use the same color then I might not need to process that many elements after all. There is already an option to "Replace all" hues but by replacing a whole color will be even faster. So it looks possible to use Complex mode as a basis and downgrade some capabilities to Simplified but not he other way around and Filter mode does not look like being possible to mix with.
