Why give up the vertical Activity Bar?
I think it is very practical and was also a major highlight in the past. Why should we remove it?
A big fan of vertical Activity Bar as well as vertical Tabs who started using since day 1 feels super sad seeing vertical Activity Bar support getting discontinued.
I am also a user of the vertical tabs for me feel amazing in my workflow, like the browser tabs that I use in vertical mode too, I don't understand why removing this option
the vertical activity bar is the main reason why I use Edge for web dev, I guess I'll have to completely bin off edge once it's removed. Hope this decision is walked back on.
Thank you for opening the Issue. I also don't see a reason to remove it. The feature is already implemented, people can switch at ease, why remove the option?
I'm quite disappointed about this. What is the point of removing such an awesome feature? This is one of the standout features of the edge dev tools. Hopefully, they reconsider this.
Do we have any communication at all on why? Like, is there another upcoming feature that needs this change? It's honestly one of the main reasons why I use Edge for developing.
