Split Screen: Opening dev tools on the second screen terminates edge application

To Reproduce:

1. Open a tab
2. Split screen
3. In the second screen, attempt to open the dev tools via Right Click on the page -> Inspect
4. Edge browser terminates

Thanks for reporting this. I'm unable to reproduce this bug. Can you please share the edge://version you're seeing this issue? Also, do you have the same issue on other Edge channels like Beta or Dev?

Hi @leahmsft I updated to 137.0.3296.52 (Official build) beta (64-bit) , it is no longer occurring now, what is occurring now is this:

1. Open a tab
2. Split screen
3. In the second screen, attempt to open the dev tools via Right Click on the page -> Inspect
4. Second screen browser tools pops out of the Edge application to become its own window

What happens if you open it on the first screen? Is your dock location preference set to undocked or docked somewhere on the screen?

Hi @leahmsft it shows fine on the left screen. I just tried to check the Dock location the one popping out of the app seems to not allow selecting the location options

Dock location is by default "Dock to bottom"
