Feedback wanted: Media Explorer tool

Web sites make it increasingly harder to see full size pictures or watch videos in the browser-native player with controls and the option to save them. You can use Browser Developer Tools to work around that, but you need to know how. We are considering adding a "media explorer" to the browser to make that easier.

The Media Explorer would be a tool that allows you to scan the current document for images, videos embedded in the current docunent and linked to and display them as a sortable table. You can click each of the entries to get a media preview and you can choose to download them individually or as a zip in bulk. The following mockup shows what that could look like.

I think this makes more sense to be an extension or in the sidebar, instead of being included in the developer tools as the target audience is general public and not specifically developers. Have you considered the potential copyright issues that may arise from allowing users to download content from any website? I am guessing this plugin only works for content with standard format like mp4, gif and not youtube, netflix etc.
