Domain removal after initiating finalization

Hi,

Currently it is unclear if one can remove the custom domain tied to the migrated accounts in the source domain, once finalization has begun, or perhaps even while pre-migration is in progress?

This is important to know during a cut-over weekend as the finalization could take quite some time, and being able to start the domain removal as soon as possible can be critical to have all backend services (I'm looking at you MS Teams) fully understand that the custom domain has been attached to a new tenant.

Hope you can help out with this before Ignite, so I can answer customer questions :)
