Need more context
Arriving at this page from a search engine (as is often the case), it is clear to me that this is about allowing a request through to my web application. What is unclear to me though is whether the "binding" in this context refers to the source or destination of the request - I can think of reasons for wanting to define either (destination would be to assist routing, source is a permissions thing). It would help to at least have a reference to something that explains the concept of binding.
