Remember framework version
Is there any way for the docs site to remember which target framework version you've selected? As of right now, when I navigate to docs from Google, it always defaults to .NET Framework 4.8, while I'm actually interested in .NET Core 3.1.
Or at least make it default to the latest version of the framework instead of some (soon to be) deprecated version of it.

Come here to ask the same, it is annoying to constantly change from net48.
I now have the opposite problem. I support legacy .NET Framework applications, and now the documentation defaults to .NET Core 3.1, which I unfortunately can not use yet. Can this be made into a profile setting, so I will always be presented the preferred documentation set for me. Then each authenticated developer can select their preferred documentation set for the .NET version they need. I do appreciate the extensive online documentation, and I use it daily. Hopefully, this would not be too large of an effort to implement.
Also want to show my support for this issue. Being able to select a default framework version would save me an extra step that I have to do most of the time. Some inline popup or notification would be nice if the preferred version isn't available.
