Make note of expected error
[Enter feedback here]
When you run this command:
I'm pretty sure you should expect to see an error, since the edgeHub has not been created yet.
The error I got is as follows, which I believe is to be expected at this point. I think its worth noting in the documentation.

@savastosic Thanks for the feedback! I have assigned the issue to the content author to evaluate and update as appropriate.
Hi @savastosic,
You shouldn't get an iotedge check
error for EdgeHub after a iotedge config apply
even if EdgeHub is restarting. Did you see the error go away after waiting for EdgeHub to restart?
Thanks, Pat
Hey Pat,
My understanding is that this would be prior to setting the modules in the Azure Portal. So the only agent that would start would be the edgeAgent. Once you set the modules the IoT Check clears up.

Hi @savastosic,
Thanks for clarifying. I understand what you mean now. You're right. You have to do a deployment before EdgeHub runs. We'll add clarification to the article.
Thanks, Pat
Hi @savastosic ,
Thanks again for the feedback. We've added a note to all articles about the iotedge check error for a newly provisioned device.
I'm going to request closing the issue. #please-close
Thanks, Pat
