Usage of 'format' property in source/sink
The documentation mentions that you can use a 'format' property in the source/sink within a copy activity. If I understand correctly this should apply a format on DateTime interim types, however this does not appear to actually work in ADF. Is this still correct information?
Format string to be used when type is Datetime or Datetimeoffset. Refer to Custom Date and Time Format Strings on how to format datetime. In general, you don't need to specify or change this property. Learn more about data type mapping.

@BigSlimeGuy Thanks for your feedback! We will investigate and update as appropriate.
Hi @BigSlimeGuy, this could potentially be an issue with the product itself, or with the format string you're using. Please open a free support incident for one of our support engineers to assist you further to look into it. They can also engage the product developers if necessary should they confirm a defect or unexpected behavior in the product. You can open an incident by browsing to https://portal.azure.com and then selecting the main menu at the top left of the screen to choose Help + Support. Thank you!
Since this issue requires further investigation and may be related to a product issue rather than the docs themselves, I will close it out now.
