Disk size mismatch while creating nodepool with Standard_NC8as_T4_v3 VM SKU
When trying to create or add nodepool with Standard_NC8as_T4_v3 VM SKU with os disk size 360 and os disk type ephemeral but customer is receiving below error.
(VMCannotFitEphemeralOSDisk) The virtual machine size Standard_NC8as_T4_v3 has a cache size of 154619000000 bytes and temporary disk size of 377957122048 bytes, but the OS disk requires 386547056640 bytes. Use a VM size with larger cache, larger temp disk, or disable ephemeral OS. Code: VMCannotFitEphemeralOSDisk Message: The virtual machine size Standard_NC8as_T4_v3 has a cache size of 154619000000 bytes and temporary disk size of 377957122048 bytes, but the OS disk requires 386547056640 bytes. Use a VM size with larger cache, larger temp disk, or disable ephemeral OS.
As per the configuration, the nodepool should create successfully as the node os disk size mentioned is 360 and as it is ephemeral it should use the temp storage of the vm which is 360Gib but it is receiving the above error.
Above error states that the virtual machine size Standard_NC8as_T4_v3 has a cache size of 154619000000 bytes and temporary disk size of 377957122048 bytes, but the OS disk requires 386547056640 bytes.
Above error is confusing because the temp storage is 377957122048 bytes in the error which comes to 352 Gib which is not equivalent to the temp storage defined in the document which is 360Gib https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/nct4-v3-series
Even if convert 377957122048 bytes to GB also it doesn't match.
377957122048 byte = 377gb
Could someone confirm why there is a mismatch for the same?
Checked and noticed https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs/issues/102314 issue is already raised for the same too.
