For email messages with attachments, apply a label that matches the highest classification of those attachments
Hello,
About Automatic labeling, a little bit strange, why the message should apply to the label from the attachment? Why not another way around, I think it would be much better if Outlook prompts this behavior;
- User is sending a message to external
- User attach a file that is encrypted only to tenant users (Only Internal)
- User receives a prompt that the attachment won't work for the recipient
Else in your condition, for automation, we can imagine that most Sensitivity Lablel users don't define 1000 labels per customers domains, and for sure use Label to Encrypt document for Internal use only, then:
- User creates an email to send to external
- User attach a file that is encrypted Only Internal
- User message Sensitivity Label automatically change to Only Internal? why???
Maybe my comment is not for this document and I should go to the Feedback... or you can explain better how to "trigger info" for the end-user if a user is sending the message to External, the message must be delivered to External, and for sure Attachment must be able to be accessed, but the end-user must be warmed if the attachment is Only Internal encrypted.
