As there have been no changes in over 3 years and little to no mention of this technology the idea has been dropped for anything other than community contributions.

Whilst the hype appears to make this seem like the perfect solution for product integration, it doesn't appear to have any traction even within the Microsoft ecosystem.

If I'm wrong please correct me.
