Is V 1.4 Schema Supported in Teams?

When trying to use 1.4 Adaptive Card Schema we get a unable to render card in any Teams client.

Adaptivecard.io likewise caps support at 1.3. Which is accurate?

1.4 is supported by Bot sent cards, 1.3 for user sent cards. We've made the change and awaiting deployment. We'll close this once it's deployed.

Also for future reference, you can click on the feedback button (rightmost button) on the designer to easily file issues.

Hi. Can you clarify what is meant by bot-sent cards since it appears the 1.4 format cards can not be rendered by Teams client so under what use case would the 1.4 support for bot-sent cards apply?

@GauravES I'm using PowerAutomate's Adaptive Card implementation, which pops up in Teams as a Bot sent card I think.

@rahulamlekar I'm holding an automation implementation in my company, and I notice the Adaptive Cards designer was updated, but cards with 1.4 don't display yet. Do you have a planned date for deployment?

@GauravES - This would be anything supported by (Bot Framework) [https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/adaptive-cards/getting-started/bots] or (Power Automate)[https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/overview-adaptive-cards].

@MartonEstok Are you referring to the Bot Framework composer? It's still on an older version and we've asked their team to support the latest version. They said they'd be able to do this early next year.
